"The Six Attitudes of High Achievers"
John R. Noe
1. Make No Small Plans
This means that when your a young person you sh
ould always think big. The more ideas you have the more you'll achieve. You should always reach for your goals and never give up. Always be a positive thinker to do things. If you have a negative mind then you will struggle achieving things you want. You should have big plans just in case something doesn't work out. For example having a journal of ideas. Thinking bigger is better because that way you have more to get pushed up to be an achiever.
2. Do what they fear
To do what they fear means to do things that will allow you to look brave. You should use this strategy it is helpful in many ways. When you use this attitude you will look strong and ready to compete anything that comes towards you. If you do what they fear they will be afraid of you because they know you are a smart and competitive person.
3. Are willing to prepare
This attitude means that you should always be ready. It means that you should be willing to show what you got. If there is something you want to do then you should be willing to give it your all. Then you should be preparing for it. This attitude is helpful because it can show you how to be a better person. It will show you to be ready and to always prepare for anything you want to achieve.
4. Are willing to risk failure This attitude means some what like bravery. When you want to do something but your afraid it should not stop you from doing it. You should feel confident even if you fail at it, you at least tried to do it. This shows courage in a person, dedication. When people are afraid to try things then its not really a good thing. They will never have courage to do things and will struggle to do things on their own. You should never be afraid of failing because the important thing is that you try to do it. Failing just means that you should try it again, if its for a sport and you fail at it you shouldn't quit but keep practicing to get better. If its for a job you should learn more skills to try and get that job. Never be afraid to try things because it won't put you anywhere in life.
This attitude means that you should pass on the 6 attitudes to others. The attitudes all have a positive thing. To be teachable is to teach what others should know like the knowledge of being successful. A high achiever seeks for knowledge and spends time observing the things around them. You should take advantage of those mentors they will teach you many things. If you have a mentor you will be taught many things.
6. Have Heart
Having a heart is easy to do if you decide to put your mind to it. People use there heart for things they love. If it for a partner or doing something they really like. Having a heart means that you put everything you got into doing something. You should always try to achieve something in life and put your best effort. For example if you love a sport and you wanna be really good at it, then you will practice hard everyday to be the best.Having a heart will mean that should care for others and your family. I will apply this to my life by being kind to one another.
Final Reflection: The 6 attitudes of high achievers is going to be a big help. I will apply all of these attitudes because they will help me with me achieving things. I will not have fear in planning my goals. I will also make no small plans I should always think big and try to achieve more things. I will be willing to prepare for what comes towards me in life. I won't be afraid to try things because Ill have no fear in failing I don't mind failing. As long as I don't quit and I keep trying. If you fail that means you need to work harder and not quit. I will be teachable I will learn new things along the way. Always listen to what advice people give you in life sometimes it is really good advice. The last thing is having a heart, having a heart is most important. Having a heart will allow more people to enter your life because they will think that you are a really good person. They will see that you really care about things.
