Six ways to Make people like you. If you want people to like you.......

Rule 1: Become genuinely interested in other people.
1) " Do this and you will be welcomed anywhere"
2) "You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you"
3) "Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."
 I think this rule is true. If you follow this rule you'll have a lot of friends. If you talk to people you don't know and be friendly then they will be nice to you.Meeting new people is a lot of fun especially if you both have things in common. If you meet someone new you should be nice so they can know you are a good person to talk to. Make sure you know that they are good people as well because this will show if you should continue talking to them. If you see that they are nice then there is a good
friend to keep. Be respectful and polite when meeting a new person.

I will apply this rule to myself because it sounds legit. I think if you are nice to people then you will make a lot of friends faster. You have to be polite and generous this will make people see that you are a good person. It will show you have good character.





Rule 2: Smile
1) " Actions speak louder than words, and a smile says, "I like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."
2) "You don't feel like smiling? Then force yourself to smile."
3) "It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign (witness or indication) of friends."
I agree with this rule. I think that smiling is a strong action. When you smile you at someone that person will automatically smile back. They will like that smile because maybe that is the only smile they will get in that day. Smiling at someone is something nice to do especially to elders. There are people who don't smile whether its because they're having a bad day or there having a problem. This is why when you see someone like that you should smile at them because maybe that smile can make there day a whole lot better. A person should always be smiling they should always be happy and positive. I think a smile brings joy to everyone. For example when a baby smiles for the first time it makes you smile and that is one of the best feelings ever.


I agree with this quote. I think that what ever happens in your life you should always be happy don't ever let something bring you down. You should always have something in your head telling you to smile. I will apply this to myself by always smiling at people. I won't ever ignore a smile from someone. I will always apply a smile on my face even when Im sad.

Rule 3: Remember names

1) " A mans name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
2.) "If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble."
 I agree with this because I think people like it when they call there name. It makes them feel attended and it makes them feel that they are known by a lot of people. This also makes that person good because maybe they really like there name being said. I know I like it when they say my name. I also like it when they give me a nickname. I think remembering names makes you look like a good person. If you remember names then you'll know more people that way. This will make people like you for remembering them to show that your really interested in them.

Rule 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves
1.) " If you aspire to be a good conversationalist, be an attentive listener."
2.) "Remember that the man you are talking to is a hundred times more interested in himself and his wants and his problems than he is in you and your problems.
I agree with this rule. I think being a good listener is very important. If you are a good listener then this shows people that you are a good person. They will like this about you and they will want to keep talking to you. If you are a good listener then they will tell you maybe even personal things because that person will know that they can trust you with anything. Its important to be respectful and listen to someones things maybe that person could be going through some hard times. You should take the time to hear what they have to say because maybe that's what they need, a good listener. If you ever need help or someone to hear you out you should talk to a very close friend.


Rule 5: Talk in terms of the other man's interest.
"The royal road to a man's heart is to talk to him about the things he treasures most."

I agree with this rule I think that talking to someone about things they like will be a good help in talking to them again. By talking to them about the same topic will give them interest in becoming your friend. You will get friends by having stuff in common. They will feel that you are there type of people to talk to. Sometimes people would also like to meet a new different person but if you guys talk about the same topic it will be even better. When I talk to new people and I see that we have a lot in common I will stick to that person because I would feel I have more comfort in sharing things with that person.

Rule 6: Make the other person feel important- and do it sincerely.

"The desire to be important is the deepest urge in human nature." (John Dewey)" Helping people feel important and appreciated works magic."
I agree with this because making people feel important is a good thing. It will make them feel wanted and safe. I think this should apply to everyone because making someone feel important is a good action. Maybe that person sometimes needs that and you can make that person feel good. You should make that person feel graceful but it should be done when they deserve it. If the person is a CTW person then they shouldn't feel rewarded because they should always CTR. Making a good person feel wanted and important can lead them to continue being that way.    

Final Reflection: I think that the "Six ways to make people like you" post is a good example to show a person. This will help people like you because it is all positive actions. I will apply this to my daily life because I think it will make me look like a person everyone will want to talk to. I agree with these rules because it will help you know alot of people.
